Speech therapy

In a neuro-rehabilitation service, speech therapy helps patients suffering from brain damage, mainly acquired, of various origins (strokes, traumatic brain injury, inflammatory or degenerative, diseases...).

Speech therapy programme

After an account of the patient’s history, the speech therapist checks the patient’s spoken and written communication abilities, their speech, elocution and swallowing, and assesses the disorder’s impact on their everyday life

Where applicable, the speech therapist suggests a personalized rehabilitation programme aimed at restoring the patient’s skills and/or making up for deficits in order to regain a satisfactory quality of life.
