RÉADAPTATION ORTHOPÉDIQUE
La réadaptation orthopédique concerne les affections du système de l’appareil locomoteur, du rachis, des problèmes musculo-squelettiques à voir neuro-orthopédique. Intervient en général après une maladie aigüe ou un accident entraînant des séquelles plus ou moins graves ou au décours d’une chirurgie programmée. Le médecin spécialiste en réadaptation travaille en étroite collaboration et coordonne une équipe interdisciplinaire associant physiothérapeutes, ergothérapeutes, maîtres de sport. Les prestations offertes sont personnalisées et visent à rendre le/la patient/e autonome, indépendant, tel qu’il était avant l’accident ou la maladie, voir lui donner les moyens de s’adapter à un handicap dans les meilleurs conditions possibles, pour un retour à domicile.
La restauration optimale d’intégrité physique permettra une réinsertion socioprofessionnelle la plus rapide et la plus complète possible.
Durant son séjour, il y aura des évaluations et entraînements de différentes activités quotidiennes (toilette, habillage, prise et préparation des repas, ….), une rééducation de la motricité (force, mobilité, dextérité, troubles de la sensibilité). Le patient bénéficiera de conseils en hygiène posturale (douleurs rachidiennes, PTH, rhumatisme inflammatoire). Les activités seront toujours personnalisées avec un travail en séances individuelles, et parfois d’éducation en groupe.
RÉADAPTATION ORTHOPÉDIQUE
Avant un retour, il sera toujours envisagé des évaluations et conseils en aménagement du lieu de vie ou du travail si nécessaire, des conseils en moyens auxiliaires (planche de bain, rollator, cannes, …).
Parmi les principales pathologies accueillies, nous retrouvons la chirurgie prothétique (hanche, genou et épaule), la chirurgie traumatique (fracture de hanche, bassin, cheville), les polytraumatisés. En ce qui concerne le rachis, les suites post opératoires, de hernie discale, arthrodèse lombaire, canal lombaire, …., ou les problèmes non opérés comme les lombalgiques chroniques. Parmi les autres pathologies médicales, les rhumatismes inflammatoires de type polyarthrite rhumatoïde ou la fibromyalgie.

ORTHOPEDIC REHABILITATION
Orthopedic rehabilitation relates to disorders of the locomotive system and spine as well as to musculo-skeletal and even neuro-orthopedic problems. It is generally employed following an acute illness or an accident with consequences of varying severity, or after planned surgery. The physician specializing in rehabilitation works in close collaboration with and coordinates an interdisciplinary team consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and sports instructors. The services offered are personalized and aim to give patients the autonomy and independence they had prior to their accident or illness, or even to enable them to adapt to a disability under the best possible conditions with a view to returning home.
By restoring patients’ physical well-being in an optimum manner, we will ensure that their socio-professional reintegration takes place as quickly and as fully as possible.
During their stay, patients will be assessed and trained in various everyday activities (washing, getting dressed, preparing and eating meals, etc.) and will undergo motor therapy (strength, mobility, dexterity, sensory disorders). The patient will benefit from advice on postural health (in connection with spinal pain, total hip replacements, inflammatory rheumatism). Activities will always be personalized, with work in individual sessions, and will sometimes involve training in groups.
ORTHOPEDIC REHABILITATION
Before patients return home, assessments and advice relating to the adaptation of their living or working environment will always be considered, if necessary, as well as advice on additional aids (bath board, rollator, walking sticks, etc.). The main pathologies exhibited by the patients we treat are associated with prosthetic surgery (hip, knee and shoulder), traumatic surgery (hip, pelvic and ankle fractures) and multiple traumas, among others. In relation to the spine, pathologies include the consequences of operations, slipped discs, lumbar fusion, lumbar spinal canal stenosis, etc., or problems that have not been operated on, such as chronic low back pain. Inflammatory rheumatisms of the rheumatoid arthritis type or fibromyalgia are some of the other medical pathologies treated.

ОРТОПЕДИЧЕСКАЯ РЕАБИЛИТАЦИЯ
Ортопедическая реабилитация применяется при поражениях опорно-двигательного аппарата, позвоночника, при костно-мышечных и нейро-ортопедических проблемах. Обычно такое лечение назначается после острого заболевания или травмы, повлекшей за собой более или менее тяжелые осложнения, а также после плановых операций. Врач-специалист по реабилитации работает в тесном сотрудничестве с междисциплинарной бригадой, в которую входят физиотерапевты, эрготерапевты и тренеры по лечебной физкультуре. Процедуры назначаются каждому пациенту индивидуально.
Они направлены на восстановление автономности, самостоятельности пациента, на достижение состояния, которое было у него до болезни или травмы, или же на максимально комфортную адаптацию пациента к инвалидности, чтобы он смог вернуться домой. Оптимальное восстановление двигательных способностей пациента позволяет ему максимально быстро и полноценно пройти социальную и профессиональную реабилитацию.
ОРТОПЕДИЧЕСКАЯ РЕАБИЛИТАЦИЯ
Во время реабилитации осуществляется оценка и тренировка различных бытовых навыков пациента (уход за собой, одевание, потребление и приготовление пищи, ...), а также восстановление его двигательных функций (сила, подвижность, ловкость, чувствительность). Пациенту даются рекомендации по постуральному режиму (боли в позвоночнике, протез тазобедренного сустава, воспалительные ревматические заболевания). Упражнения подбираются индивидуально и выполняются на индивидуальных сеансах, которые время от времени чередуются с групповыми занятиями. Перед возвращением пациента домой родственникам предоставляются оценки и рекомендации по обустройству жилища и, при необходимости, рабочего места, а также советы по дополнительному оборудованию (сиденье для ванной, ролятор, трости, ...).
Основные патологии, с которыми мы сталкивается, относятся к хирургическому протезированию (бедро, колено, плечо) и травматической хирургии (перелом бедра, таза, лодыжки). Также мы принимаем пациентов с множественными травмами. Заболевания позвоночника: послеоперационные последствия грыжи межпозвоночного диска, поясничного артродеза, поясничного канала, ... или неоперационные проблемы – например, хронические люмбалгии. Среди других медицинских патологий - воспалительные ревматические заболевания, например, ревматоидный артрит или фибромиалгия.

RÉADAPTATION NEUROLOGIQUE
Dirigé par un spécialiste de renommée mondiale, le centre de réadaptation neurologique de la Clinique Valmont offre des prestations de pointe dans un cadre très favorable au rétablissement du patient. Le calme et la beauté des lieux sont des aides précieuses dans l’application des mesures susceptibles de restaurer ou conserver les facultés d’expression orale, de mémoire, de pensée et de mobilité qui peuvent être affectées par un trouble du cerveau.
Le neuropsychologue effectue un traitement rééducatif personnalisé en cas de troubles de la mémoire.
Le logopédiste travaille sur les difficultés d’expression orale, fréquentes en particulier lors d’attaques cérébrales et de Parkinson.
Dans chaque cas peuvent intervenir le physiothérapeute et l’ergothérapeute qui complètent le traitement en entretenant les capacités physiques du patient et en lui enseignant les gestes corrects et adaptés à son traumatisme. The tranquillity and beauty of the site are of great value when implementing programs to restore or preserve faculties of oral expression, memory, thought and mobility affected by stroke.
The neuropsychologist helps address memory disorders through tailored rehabilitation treatments.
The speech therapist treats difficulties in oral expression often encountered in the wake of strokes or Parkinson's disease.
Each particular case may involve the intervention of a physical therapist and occupational therapist to complete the treatment by maintaining the physical capacities of the patient and by teaching him or her, the appropriate movements adapted to the trauma. Their objective is to maintain the highest level of function and to adopt automatic skills to enhance the patient's autonomy. A dietician and a sophrologist may also counsel the patient during your treatment.

Notre centre de réadaptation s’adresse à toutes les personnes atteintes d’une maladie cardio-vasculaire. En particulier après un infarctus du myocarde, une opération chirurgicale des artères coronaires , d’une valve, de l’aorte, des artères périphériques, d’une transplantation cardiaque. Nous vous accueillons aussi à la suite d’un acte de cardiologie interventionnelle (dilatation ou pose d’un stent), si vous souffrez d’une insuffisance cardiaque ou de maladie artérielle des membres inférieurs.

Our rehabilitation center is intended for anyone with cardiovascular disease, in particular after a myocardial infarction, coronary artery, valve, aortic or peripheral artery surgery or cardiac transplantation. You are also welcome following cardiological procedures such as dilatation or insertion of a stent, or if you suffer from heart failure or arterial disease of the lower limbs.
Our cardiologist, who specializes in cardiovascular rehabilitation, will carry out a thorough appraisal, taking account of medical, paramedical, physical and lifestyle aspects. She will liaise with you as results are obtained during the course of your rehabilitation.
A physical exercise team will support and assist you to ensure that you regain your self-confidence, stay in control of your physical activity and adapt your physical condition to your disease.
Our dietician will introduce you to a new diet that will suit your requirements while still letting you enjoy most of your favorite foods. Theoretical and practical courses will help you to come up with menus that are easy for day-to-day cooking.

Glion-sur-Montreux- Le Centre de Réadaptation Cardiovasculaire (RCV) de la Clinique Valmont-Genolier vient de recevoir brillamment la Certification Qualité par le Groupe Suisse de Travail pour la Réadaptation Cardiovasculaire (GSRC). C'est suite à un Audit approfondi, au cours duquel un examen détaillé sur les programmes et l'infrastructure a été effectué, que cette Certification a été attribuée.
L’audit de certification consiste à contrôler si les exigences spécifiques des normes établies par le GSRC sont respectées et si les procédures, les ressources humaines et matérielles ainsi que les programmes dont les patients bénéficient sont conformes aux objectifs de qualité, également définis par le Groupe.
Dès maintenant, le centre de Valmont sera inscrit sur la liste des institutions officielles de réadaptation cardiovasculaire reconnues par le GSRC.
Le Centre de Réadaptation Cardiovasculaire (RCV) est situé au sein de la Clinique Valmont-Genolier, établissement entièrement dédié à la réadaptation, situé à Glion-sur-Montreux. Il peut accueillir annuellement 250 à 300 patients souffrant de problèmes cardiaques ou vasculaires aigus (post syndrome coronaire aigu, opération cardiaque ou de l’aorte, insuffisance cardiaque chronique) pour un séjour stationnaire de 3 à 4 semaines. L’équipe dont le centre de RCV dispose se caractérise par sa pluridisciplinarité : des cardiologues, des médecin-assistants, des infirmières, un diététicien, des maîtres de sport, des physiothérapeutes et des ergothérapeutes.

Glion-sur-Montreux - The Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Center (CRV) at Clinique Valmont-Genolier has just received Quality Certification from the Swiss Working Group for Cardiovascular Rehabilitation (SGCR) following an in-depth audit involving the detailed scrutiny of the Center's programs and infrastructure. The Center performed outstandingly in the audit.
The certification audit is designed to verify whether the specific requirements of the standards established by the SGCR are observed and whether the procedures, human and other resources, and patient treatment programs conform to the quality objectives that are also defined by the Group.
The Valmont Center is now included in the list of official cardiovascular rehabilitation institutions recognized by the SGCR.
The Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Centre (CRV) is part of Clinique Valmont-Genolier, a facility in Glion-sur-Montreux that is dedicated entirely to rehabilitation. Each year the Center receives 250 to 300 patients suffering from acute cardiac or vascular problems (post acute coronary syndrome, cardiac or aortic surgery, chronic heart failure) for an in-patient stay of 3 to 4 weeks. The CRV Center benefits from a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, resident physicians, nurses, a dietitian, sports instructors, physical and occupational therapists.

The certification audit is designed to verify whether the specific requirements of the standards established by the SGCR are observed and whether the procedures, human and other resources, and patient treatment programs conform to the quality objectives that are also defined by the Group.
The Valmont Center is now included in the list of official cardiovascular rehabilitation institutions recognized by the SGCR.
The Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Centre (CRV) is part of Clinique Valmont-Genolier, a facility in Glion-sur-Montreux that is dedicated entirely to rehabilitation. Each year the Center receives 250 to 300 patients suffering from acute cardiac or vascular problems (post acute coronary syndrome, cardiac or aortic surgery, chronic heart failure) for an in-patient stay of 3 to 4 weeks. The CRV Center benefits from a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, resident physicians, nurses, a dietitian, sports instructors, physical and occupational therapists.
RÉADAPTATION CARDIOVASCULAIRE: LA CLINIQUE VALMONT-GENOLIER CERTIFIÉE PAR L'ORGANE FAÎTIER
Le programme propose un contrôle médical quotidien, en moyenne 50 heures d’activités physiques durant le séjour et 24 heures d’enseignement théorique dispensées en groupe aux patients. De plus, une prise en charge éducationnelle thérapeutique individuelle est mise en place si nécessaire.
Des ateliers pratiques de cuisine, réalisés par le diététicien et le chef de cuisine, sont également organisés par le Centre. En pratique le Centre dispose à l’heure actuelle de 6 types de programmes différents ainsi que des programmes individuels pour des patients plus faibles, âgés, ou nécessitant un suivi particulier. Ces programmes se différencient par la durée et l’intensité de l’activité physique, du suivi clinique, de l’intensité de la surveillance des soins et de l’éducation thérapeutique. Le plateau technique comprend des appareils
d'échocardiographie, d’électrocardiographes, d’une machine pour effectuer des tests d’effort, de tout le matériel nécessaire à l’entraînement physique ainsi que la possibilité d’un contrôle télémétrique (contrôle continu du rythme cardiaque) 24/24 h, dans tout le département de RCV. Le centre de RCV est reconnu par la FMH pour la formation post-graduée en Cardiologie, catégorie C.

THERAPY CENTRE
Within the Clinique Valmont, on the same level as its magnificent garden, is the therapy area. This has been completely redesigned and renovated, and offers, among other things:
- An indoor, heated swimming pool for balneotherapy treatments;
- Two specific fitness rooms equipped with modern facilities;
- A climbing wall;
- Areas equipped for physiotherapy and occupational therapy sessions as well as for neuropsychology and logopedics consultations;
- A team of sports instructors (Nordic walking).

Les patients ont la possibilité de recevoir des visites, tous les jours de 11h00 à 19h30. La réception est ouverte du lundi au vendredi de de 8h00 à 18h30 et le weekend de 9h00 à 17h00. Une animation musicale hebdomadaire est proposée.

Patients may receive visitors daily from 11:00 a.m. until 7 :30 p.m. The reception desk is open from Monday till Friday from 8:00 a.m. till 6:30 am and on weekends from 9:00 a.m. till 5:00 pm. A weekly musical programme is presented.
